Team Excel Skates with Marigold IceUnity

When Marigold IceUnity, three-time world synchronized skating champions, of Helsinki, Finland arrived in Boston for the 2013 World Synchronized Skating Championships in April, they were focused, determined, and ready to compete for the world title. After placing third in the free skate and fourth in the competition overall, they still had a job to do. They were to stay in Boston for another week to star in The Skating Club of Boston’s annual show, Ice Chips. Throughout their weeklong stay, Team Excel skaters of all ages and levels had the opportunity to skate with and experience the speed, strength, and flow of Marigold IceUnity.

Team Excel Skates with Marigold IceUnity

Team Excel / Excel Crystals skaters welcome Finland’s Marigold IceUnity to The Skating Club of Boston. If you missed their fourth place finish at the 2013 World Synchronized Skating Championships, come watch Marigold IceUnity skate in Ice Chips 2013 at Harvard’s Bright Arena on April 13 – 14.
In the meantime, we are making the most of this very special visit from our sister team. Below are some scenes from Skate with the Team events we have held at each of our three locations, Brighton, Foxboro and Marlborough.
