Megan Walsh — Synchronized Skating Coach
 

Megan Walsh is a Coach for Team Excel. She offers a comprehensive understanding of synchronized team skating and strong leadership abilities. She is an Official with U.S. Figure Skating as a National Synchronized Technical Specialist and a Video/Data Operator; has served on U.S. Figure Skating committees and has been selected by U.S. Figure Skating to participate in their WIN Program designed to train coaches for international success. Megan has won five National Championship and several International Championship Medals during an extensive synchronized skating career including four years with the Haydenettes and the USA1 World Team. She has U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medals in Moves in the Field and Ice Dance. Through the Professional Skaters Association, Megan has completed the Mentoring Program under the supervision of Lynn Benson, former coach of the Haydenettes and has earned a Registered Synchronized Team Skating Instructor Rating. Megan has accumulated several years experience as coach, footwork choreographer and program choreographer for National, International and World teams.

She is a graduate of Bentley University with a B.S. cum laude in Economics-Finance, is employed at an investment firm and offers basic skills and private coaching at the Skating Club of Boston.
